Brochures are more important than many people think and they can help a company inform its employees and its current and prospective clients. Brochures can be handed out in print form at the office or sent via the Internet to people’s email addresses on a monthly basis.

Brochures include a variety of information necessary to a company’s success. The information included in a brochure can be any of the following:

  • Company history
  • Company background
  • Company awards
  • Company employee briefs
  • List of services
  • List of products
  • Map of company coverage location
  • Stats and figures about company
  • Profiles on executives and other employees
  • Employees of the month

A normal brochure can be anywhere from three to five pages long with a three page brochure being of the tri-fold variety. When a brochure is produced for the Internet many companies will create it with publishing software and then put it into a PDF File for distribution. This way the brochure can have a link on the company’s website for anyone to view at anytime. Companies can also create an archive page for their monthly newsletters so people can refer to previous months if need be.

Brochures that are printed can be handed out at company events, sent in a direct mailing campaign, or handed out to people outside the building. Most companies send their monthly newsletter to their employees and their clients via email nowadays. The email can have the newsletter as an attachment or as the body of the email. This is easier for most people, as they don’t have to sift through a bunch of paper.
