Effective Product Marketing

22 March 2009 1,388 views No Comment

Having an effective marketing campaign for a certain product or service can mean the difference between successfully selling the product or service or having to remove it from the market because of low sales numbers. Marketing a specific product or service can be an incredibly tricky thing to do but if done properly can be very rewarding.

One of the best ways to effectively market a specific product or service is through a well thought out advertising campaign utilizing all areas of mass media. That includes radio spots, television spots, billboards, newspapers and the Internet. Many companies prefer to create and operate a corporate blog that not only features content about the company but also content about the company’s specific products and services it offers to its clients and customers.

With a corporate blog a company can focus on just one of their products and use Search Engine Optimization techniques to drive traffic to the blog. Many companies will create more than one blog for all of  their products. It is a free and easy thing to do…Wordpress offers the creation of blogs for free. There are no sign-up fees or any monthly charges for using their blogging software. None at all.

Another way to effectively market one specific product or service is to feature the product in the company newsletter that is sent to not only employees and staff members but also to current and prospective clients. Dedicate one or two entire pages of the newsletter to the new product so that employees and customers understand how important this product or service is and what benefits are associated with it.
