The Company Resume
We have discussed, at length, the importance of business cards and resumes to employers, employees, and companies in general. For the first time we will discuss the importance of the company resume. That is right; a company, an entire company, can have a resume documenting their history in their specific industry. There is nothing wrong with having a company resume, in fact, it is something that is becoming a little more popular these days. The company resume can be printed on the company’s website, be printed on paper and put on display in the office, and mailed to other companies in the area.
A company resume should have the company’s name on it along with all of its contact information including phone numbers, email addresses, website address and much more. The resume should then have a list of top tier management with their educational and job history, a history of the company, and any other pertinent information.
One section of the company resume that should not be left out is the name and contact information of some of the company’s most important clients in their history. You must first obtain the permission from the clients to post their name and contact information, which probably will not be a problem since it is pretty much a free advertising campaign. You could even get a paragraph testimonial from the clients to print on the resume as well. Most company resumes will be two or three pages in length, but the more detail the better when it comes to attracting new clients.
