Private tutors are always needed for students of all ages, whether it is for math, reading, or SAT prep.  Tutoring is a fantastic way to make extra money and make a difference in the community.  Although, if tutoring is not your full-time job, you probably don’t have much time to market yourself. 

Business cards are a great way to spread the word about your services.  On the card, be sure to include your name and contact information, as well as your degree of education, and your area of expertise.  The card should be clean and simple.  Hand out the cards to everyone you meet.  Leave your cards at the local library, school offices, and on bulletin boards in local businesses too.  You would be surprised to know how many people are in need of your services. 

Flyers and Lawn signs are great, inexpensive ways to market yourself as well!
