Press releases can be a business’ best friend. They are a perfect tool to use for marketing purposes and can acquire a ton of business for your company if they are crafted perfectly and submitted to the proper places. Press releases can be written and distributed for a variety of different reasons such as the hiring of a famous business person, the addition of a new department, the acquisition of another company, the addition of a new product or the release of a new service.

Press releases can be written by someone on your staff who has written them before or you can hire a press release writing service to handle all of your press releases, especially if you will be creating quite a few of them each month. Some companies, taking advantage of their marketing prowess, create press releases a couple of times per week. On the press release will be information about the topic at hand as well as contact information for the company. The contact information will be a website address, an email address, a phone number, a street address and the name of an employee who can be contacted about the information presented in the press release.

Some press release writing services will charge anywhere from $200-$350 per press release, which can become expensive for some small businesses. If this is the case it would be more cost effective to learn how to write press releases on your own or make sure somebody on your payroll knows how to write them.
