Marketing an eBook

Are you a writer that has written your first eBook? If so, this post is for you because we will give you some of the best tips when it comes to marketing and selling your eBook. The first tip is to make sure that you don’t overprice your eBook but also don’t under-price your eBook either. Once the eBook is complete, make sure you edit it for grammar and spelling mistakes, and then post it to a website. The website should be comparable to the eBook. What does this mean? Basically, don’t post an eBook about baseball on a website about gardening. It won’t sell at all.

Make sure you post the eBook on your own site that deals with the same topic(s) as the eBook so that it sells easier. Once it is posted to the site you should write, or have a press release written about your eBook and send it to a variety of websites that deal with your eBook’s topic. Also, write articles that cover the same topic or category of your eBook and submit them to article content sites with a link to your eBook in the articles.

Now you have to sit back and wait to see how many sales your eBook will rack up. You should also promote your website in general as much as possible so that people will visit it, stumble upon the eBook, and possibly purchase the book. Price your first eBook in the range of $25-$40 if it is anywhere from 50-70 pages. Most eBooks won’t be any longer than that so the price should fall somewhere in that range.
