Designing an Email Newsletter
Here at Business Printers we have offered quite a bit of tips regarding the design of a company newsletter, a company website, and company email mailings. Now we are offering some input on how to design an email newsletter. Now, some people might be thinking to themselves why can’t our company just copy and paste our regular newsletter into the body of an email or save it as an attachment and hit send?
Sending an email newsletter can be done this way but it might not be as effective as it can be. The best way to design an email newsletter is to design it separately from the newsletter handed out to the public or the newsletter posted to the company’s website. When designing an email newsletter the company should consider the size of the newsletter and how it will affect the inbox of the people they send it to.
The newsletter should include the logo of the business, the location of the business, the hours, contact information, the company’s website address, pertinent company history information, news and info about products and services and many other items. The newsletter should also feature an employee profile or another profile of the business to reach out to the customer.
The newsletter can be formatted in a Microsoft Word document or a PDF file, which is easier to distribute and makes the document look nicer. PDF files also prevent people from copying and pasting information presented onto other documents or other websites illegally.
